Exercise is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. Research suggests that if you exercise continually for 6 months, you’ll exercise for the rest of your life.

The really great news is that once you start getting into the habit of exercising, it becomes easier and you’ll actually look forward to it! There is no better feeling on completion of a good workout.

There are many benefits to exercise, you’ll:

  • Strengthen your immune system

SlimCo suggests exercising for a minimum of 30 minutes 3 times a week. That’s it. Anything you enjoy - running, swimming, cycling - just get out there and do it!

Each 30-minute workout should include a 5 minute warm-up, gentle stretching and a 5 minute cool down. Raise your level of exertion to level 7. Do enough to build up a sweat but not too much so that you are in pain (Remember if you feel dizzy or lightheaded, stop immediately).
