Getting into an exercise routine
Like brushing your teeth, exercise can become a learned habit. However, to be able to let exercise become part of your lifestyle you must make the initial effort.
The reality is that most habits take about 30 days to form. Good habits take a little motivation to build, but once they are in your system they become automatic Regular physical activity is tremendously valuable for your long term health.

So you can see that getting into the exercise habit is well worth it, but how do you do it.
1.Commitment
Commit to exercise and make a firm decision. Don’t allow other things to interrupt your goal. Tell yourself that exercise can become a good habit if you will strive for it.
2.Establish goals and give yourself incentives
Set some realistic goals and keep them in mind. Write those goals on a piece of paper and post it somewhere you can easily see. Each time you attain your goals, give yourself some treat.
3.Don’t rush everything and select a workout routine that you enjoy
If you haven’t worked out for years, then you cannot run a mile after weeks of training. Start with 10 minutes of light exercise and eventually increase the intensity and duration. Keep in mind that small changes create a huge difference. Select an exercise that you enjoy the most.
4.Find a partner to exercise with
Exercise can be boring when done alone. Finding a partner to join you can make the experience more enjoyable. But when a partner is not available, there are clubs, sports teams and classes which you can participate in.
5.When you are tired, exercise
You will feel invigorated after you exercise.
6.Be creative when you exercise
It is unnecessary to purchase gym equipment. You may choose to do weight lifting, aerobic classes, cycling, tennis, running, and walking. It will guarantee that whatever time or weather of the day, you will be able to do something to avoid boredom.
7.Music will perk up your mood
You may consider listening to music while doing an exercise routine. This will help you to get the right mood and continue with your workouts.
Try to do this for 3 weeks straight and once you are used to the routine, try incorporating new twist so you will look forward to it each and every day. One of the excellent things about exercising is that it changes you all throughout. You will achieve weight loss and muscles will become toned, your viewpoint in life will be more positive, your self-esteemed will be boosted and you'll really start to feel great.
